About Michael Crane

Fireman turned sales and growth executive was not what I’d planned for myself. People ask me often how that happened, and the answer lies in how, in a different way, I still see my career as changing lives, if not outright helping to save people. When I had to pivot in my career, I discovered that sales is a way to connect people to medical innovations driving improved access to mental health care, maternal care, and more. I care deeply about the impact the medical products I sell have, not just on our bottom line, but on the medical staff and patients who depend on them.As a sales leader, I am proud of delivering results for my organizations by orchestrating sales strategy, forming customer acquisition and retention initiatives, setting strategic plans and vision and leading teams of salespeople. Results like: ✓ Consistent sales goal attainment of 103% to 200% in every role. ✓ Supported win of largest BH contract at Amwell ($60M).✓ Piloted innovative approaches to overcome customer hesitations and enter new verticals: piloted maternal care approach, added texting capabilities, secured 1st GPO customer, added customer training program to prove product value. ✓ Scaled a start-up to profitability and acquisition.Yet, I am more proud of the relationships I’ve built and maintained along the way. People try so hard not to be vulnerable, but I find it’s the best way to connect. If you do it with confidence, it leads to more productive conversations and authentic relationships with customers and team members alike. It quickly figures out what makes people tick and their why.If you know me personally, you’ll know I’m an open book regarding the complexities of life and why working in this healthcare space means everything to me. I want people to know there are people and resources out there to support them. I’d like to make things a little easier for people to find and access help.
