Formerly Precision SURE-LOCK. HSSE Coordinator for a 90+ employee site. Created a "designated trainer" program that reduced new hire injuries by 100%. Implemented an employee recognition program that allows employees to reward one another for going above and beyond in safety as well as for those that observe and help to resolve safety observations. This program also encourages employees to take advantage of the preventative healthcare options offered by the company insurance carrier. I also maintain training to OSHA standards; lead monthly HSSE Committee meetings; Investigate new PPE for use in shop; conduct accident investigations using the A3 problem solving tool; report updates and situations to corporate Global HSSE Leader; work with management in improving the site's overall safety record. Prior to this position, I was production scheduler and responsible for scheduling batches in 17 different grease/lube mixers. This also involved the daily requisition of product required based on an MRP system.I also served as an ISO 9002 internal auditor, and created necessary work standards to conform to ISO standards.I was a part of the company's "Quality Steering Committee" that met monthly to review the positive as well as the negatives that had occurred in the previous month. While there I established relationships with additional LTL carriers and tracked various rates to different zip codes to create a quick glance guide to determine best option for shipments. Worked closely with up to twelve different, commission sales professionals to ensure that orders were pulled in a FIFO method.
