Moving to Industrial Services, he developed 3 proprietary treatment processes for heavy metal removal from chelant cleaning wastes, and engineered a pilot unit reverse osmosis treatment system. He led development of low-temperature encapsulated breakers, and solvent technology with improved environmental parameters. Moving from R&D into marketing, he was Product champion for several worldwide technologies. He completed his Schlumberger career in the Mid-Continent basin, US Land Central division, followed by joining the Technical Integration Group in Oklahoma City. Following retirement from Schlumberger, he has enjoyed teaching chemistry, math tutoring and occasional oilfield consulting work.Michael's career-long conviction is that everyone has God-given talents and abilities that need to first be personally recognized, then consistently used to accomplish clearly defined goals and objectives. His main motivations are faith and family, along with a desire to help develop personal and technical excellence through his sphere of influence in work, family and the business community.He served as a Commissioned Officer in the US Army Reserve Infantry, achieving a top rank of Captain. He now enjoys increased family time, which continues to expand through his married son's growing families.
