A serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, economic development, and business coaching. I have been an owner or partner in seven different businesses including a retail video store, an education technology company, and a mobile application brokerage platform. I have extensive leadership and project management experience and have been responsible for the development of various projects including employability training programs for recent graduates and multi-barriered youth, research and consulting projects, and professional development training. My current role as Director of the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre allows me to oversee a wide range of activities from working with growth companies to student ventures. As a part-time professor of strategic management, entrepreneurship, and marketing, my enthusiasm for teaching keeps students engaged. I have received multiple awards including the SMUSA Award for Overall Excellence in the Field of Education, President’s Award for Exemplary Service, Part-time Professor of the Year Award, and the John Dobson Enactus Fellow of the Year Award. In Addition, I am the Senior Faculty Advisor of the Enactus Saint Mary’s team, guiding them to the competition finals for the past eight years in a row. I have a genuine interest in students and entrepreneurship and go above and beyond to help individuals succeed.
