Working through the merger between Lockheed Martin and Leidos, my current role is listed as a Program Manager, however the work is more in line with that of an Account Manager. I currently manage 5 teams all supporting our customers across different Defence projects. My portfolio of work is centred around geospatial capability development.Over the past 4 years, my account has grown from 13 staff members through to a staff of 40+, working across 4 different locations. I've been responsible for the recruitment and retention of all staff and have done so by maintaining strong working relationships with my staff. I've also been responsible for the cost management and budgeting of the account, with a growth of more than 250% over 4 years.I am responsible for the development and growth of all staff, implementing a two-way feedback system throughout the year to insure personal and professional growth is a focus point for my teams. I have also helped develop formal development plans for junior staff and been able to provide growth opportunities to see those staff promoted and leading work of their own.

As the team lead for a complex geospatial exploitation system, I was responsible for the maintenance of IT environment consisting of a combination of both Windows and Unix servers, with COTS and bespoke applications operating across the environment. The daily operations include proactive maintenance, account management, daily system checks and user availability of the system.This role included the management of 13 staff members across 3 different projects and 2 different sites.

I was employed as an Australian Public Servant (APS) at the APS 5 Level. My duties included managing our Data Centre with over 120 fully equipped server racks. This included, monitoring, on a regular maintenance cycle, temperatures, humidity, power consumption and general functionality. I managed the renovation of the entire power infrastructure and fibre networks located in the Data Centre. As my role developed I became responsible for the maintenance and administration of over 15 UNIX, IRIX and Windows servers. Daily operations include purchasing assets, assisting with the, completing purchase orders and supporting the daily operations. This included, but was not limited to, supporting deployed staff, assisting with mission critical reporting, supporting the dissemination of intelligence reports and supporting intelligence analysts.I was also the building Communications Officer. I am responsible for coordinating Emergency Coordination Officers, ensuring the building emergency response plans are up-to-date, acting as a liaison officer when dealing with emergency services and ensuring our building codes and policies are up-to-date.

I was a member of a Defence Service Desk as a Level 1/2 support officer. I was primarily responsible for basic user needs including, account set ups, password changes, fault finding, and customer correspondence. During my appointment as Service Desk Team Member, I came into contact with a wide range of people from various government agencies. I had to adhere to Service Level Agreements in place between support officers and customers.
