As far as "Educational Background" I have none.At 16 years of age I hated school and quit.At 20 a little smarter and at the suggestion of anemployer I went and got my G.E.D. A couple years later through a friend I got an entrylevel position in a computer department.In the next year I learned how to operate an IBM system 370/145. For the next 6 years I worked asa computer operator. I became so good at it mycurrent employer suggested I take a programmingcourse. I did so and was promoted to Jr. Programmer.A year later I was promoted to programmer. I eventually became a programmer analyst working in the Batchenvironment on IBM systems and Online programmingon a Honeywell Level 66. For the next 15 years I worked as an Independentconsultant as a programmer analyst. In 2005 I became semi-retired and stopped working in 2011.As far as the computer industry I'm what they call a "Dinosaur". I just turned 63 and am retired. In closing my formal educationis a C.O.B.O.L programming course which lasted 4 monthsand a Honeywell Data Base programming course for 2 days.Everything else I know about computer operations and programming was through on the job.
