Responsible for establishing and managing the district’s technology strategic plan to meet the current and future needs of students, staff, stakeholders, and community members. Implemented an infrastructure upgrade and management plan following the REACT strategic technology model across all elements of district technology.

Reviewed and managed critical IT infrastructure to create a system integration and consolidation roadmap. Integration focused on a cohesive and robust end-user experience that allows for ease of IT systems management and security oversite across the district.

Improved cybersecurity measures by developing, implementing, and updating the strategic technology plan to eliminate potential security risks and began to implement two-factor authentication across all technology systems. Enhanced efficiency and documentation by creating technology flow and integration maps for critical IT systems.

Managed the deployment of a one-to-one device allocation for all students and staff while upgrading critical IT infrastructure to service the device influx. Worked with administration to manage the implementation of a fully integrated student information system, learning management system, student registration system, and fee payment system to create a seamless end-user experience. The student registration system was implemented and used across twenty-two high schools in Lake County, Illinois. The system changes resulted in a dynamic workflow change for all end-user and a centralized data pool reporting engine used for critical decision making and strategic planning. Assisted in developing and leading a Tier 1 student IT program to serve students and staff with a strong focus on developing future technology leaders.

Implemented a three-year transition plan from traditional computer labs to a one-to-one device allocation approach. Transition plan was focused on creating an equitable and robust technology environment for all students, staff, and community members. Accommodated and created a simple yet robust user experience to service BYOD influx and provide easy access to technology resources.

In conjunction with our managed service provider, collaborated with team members to initiate a technology infrastructure upgrade to virtual servers and implemented the Dell KACE system for IT systems management. Updated the IT backup systems for a total power generator failover system to ensure 24/7 uptime.
