Michael F. Senft is a high-impact business strategist who deployed global investment banking and financial leadership expertise to build and reinvent companies as a C-suite executive, consultant and board member. As a former Investment Banker, CFO of a leading international aerospace company, and Director of multiple public companies, Mike expertise spans from external capital markets and M&A, to internal organizational transformation, SOX compliance, internal controls and executive compensation structuring. As a continuous improvement expert, he excels at identifying and applying best practices and KPIs across organizations to drive productivity and profitability. Most recently, Mike was a C-suite consultant to the Munich-based Lilium N.V., a next-generation air mobility company now developing a fully electric jet aircraft that can take off and land vertically. He steered a successful $200M capital campaign to fund the ongoing development of a prototype aircraft, revamped the investor relations function and advised senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Mike began his career as a global investment banker with two leading leveraged finance firms—Merrill Lynch & Co. and CIBC World Markets. He went on to serve as CFO of KLX, Inc., a B/E Aerospace, Inc. spin-off until its acquisition by The Boeing Company in 2018. In this role, he generated $250M+ in free cash flow, increased turns on $1.4B of inventory and grew annual revenue by $225M+ through originating and integrating three businesses. As an independent director, Mike is passionate about helping public, private and PE-backed companies identify new opportunities, drive sustainable growth and maximize shareholder value. Currently, Mike is the lead independent director for Molekule Group, Inc., where he ceated a business plan that established the publicly traded air hygiene technology company. His previous board service includes B/E Aerospace, Moly Mines and Del Monte.
