I grew up in a small town just north of Flint MI and have been exposed to the medical field my entire life. My father is a Chiropractor who owned his own business and my mother was an x-ray tech. I would often help my father as an assistant where he taught me numerous procedures, scribe, history and physical, as well as dictations. I have worked as a Medical Assistant at OrthoIndy. You can find me conversing with the providers, trying to learn from them, I am always looking for ways to improve and broaden my knowledge base. If I am not with a provider, I often youtube different surgical procedures, exam room techniques or reading orthobullets.I love helping people in anyway possible. Something that I thoroughly enjoy is making people smile, laugh, and feel better. Some of my favorite things to do are volunteering at my local church for their vacation bible school, home group bible study, coaching youth soccer, and teaching. I was a tutor in physics throughout college, I took a graduate level cadaver course as an undergrad and then became the TA the following semester, ran a microbiology lab course, and led study groups throughout my Masters program.
