Baron and Baron is a boutique design agency founded by Fabien Baron specializing in high-end fashion and fragrance advertising and packaging. At B&B I operated as a liaison between the Art Department, the Post-Production Department, and clients. I worked closely with art directors to ensure designs were correctly prepared for output. I worked with the post-production staff to color correct matchprints, press check jobs, and create mechanicals. I worked with clients to manage the approval process and coordinate production schedules with media deadlines. I implemented and maintained a digital image library of all research materials and ad campaigns. Clients included Donna Karan, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Burberry, BCBG, Michael Kors, and Ian Schrager Hotels.

APS is an offset and flexographic printing company serving the telecommunications industry. While there I oversaw the operations of the art department, directed staff, communicated with clients and coordinated the design process with the production schedule. I managed multiple projects under very tight deadlines and worked on all phases of these projects including: design conception and execution, client review and revision, internal pre-press and press checks while maintaining a secure digital archive of all jobs. My thorough knowledge of graphics software and print design, together with my organizational skills, communication abilities and positive attitude were key factors in APS’ steady growth and satisfied clients during my tenure as Art Department Manager. Clients included Verizon, AT&T, and IDT America.

Developed curriculums for and instructed beginning Creative Photography and Digital Photography classes. This involved teaching all facets of black and white as well as digital photography, leading critiques of student work, and managing operations of the darkroom.
