Current ResponsibilitiesFor most of the past 2 1/2 years Michael has been the Owner's representative / project manager for a new corporate headquarters building for a national health care provider. This 300,000 + square foot facility was completed one month ahead of schedule and $2M under budget.With more than 25 year of experience as a practicing architect, Michael brings a unique perspective to his role as Owner's representative / senior project manager. In addition to managing the design and construction process, Michael works with clients to assess their facilities needs and coordinate real estate strategies with their business goals. Past ExperienceBefore joining NorthMarq's predecessor, United Properties, Michael worked as a senior project manager for United Systems Integrators Corporation, where he was the national design and construction manager for branch offices for RBC Dain Rauscher. Prior to that, he was a principal in a 75-person architecture, interiors and landscape design firm. Michael’s past experience includes the design of large and small scale office buildings, retail, industrial and warehouse facilities, hotel and related hospitality projects, multi-family housing and motion picture theaters nationwide. Professional and Community InvolvementHe is a member of the American Institute of Architects. EducationMichael, a registered architect, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
