South Korea

• Managed the Region Facility Management Office (FMO), supporting various AAFES facilities throughout Korea, Guam, and Saipan. • Coordinated schedules, budgets, and assets for major and minor construction projects. • Supervised support staff in the ongoing maintenance and repairs.• Managed the FMO contingency team, administrative staff of 10 personnel, and the field maintenance personnel staff of 35 in the repair, maintenance, and renovation of facilities and equipment.• Developed and executed the downsizing plan of the FMO team in Korea due to the USFK consolidation of forces.• Increased overall staff productivity from 45% to 90%.• Managed AAFES HQ minor and major projects for construction, renovation, and upgrades, including all phases of planning, design, approval permits, budgeting, contracting, execution, cost control, and close out.• Delivered as on-site Project Manager for 11 major projects at USAG Humphreys, South Korea - $53 mil AAFES funded; as liaison to various Installation code enforcement personnel and contractual staff. • Worked with local Corp of Engineers Far East District (FED), USFK transformation team, and local Korean contractors, ensuring compliance with regulations, directives, policies, and environmental laws.
