Quality Assurance for our Loss Mitigation Team at Cenlar. Loans that are in arrears and the borrower has requested help in getting them current are placed into loss mitigation. I work with, at various times the opening, underwriting and closing teams to insure that our correspondences are clear and meet regulatory compliance and timelines. I oversee that the application and documents that the borrower submits, is archived and logged in correctly to the databases. I also oversee and request follow up letters to the borrower for missing, expired or illegible paperwork. Borrower submitted paperwork can include: , hardship letter, Mortgage assistance form, various income documents, contributor info, expense verification, and support of hardship documents.In my six months working with loss mitigation, we have streamlined and improved the process by having more oversight, documented and corrected reoccurring issues, and adding team member coaching. This has brought measurable reduction in reported errors, in giving way to less borrower complaints and need for interactions and more content loan investors with timely communication and quicker loan turn around.
