Mr. Silverman founded Katalsyt Securities in 2014 after 15 years of venture capital and investment banking experience focusing primarily on life science and technology sectors of the capital markets. Mr. Silverman has raised over $750 mm in private and public financings for early stage, start up and venture backed companies located throughout the US and Europe. Mr. Silverman’s client base is composed of ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and specialty funds. Through his vast network, Mr. Silverman has provided human capital to build out management teams and boards of many of his portfolio companies. Mr. Silverman began his career at Sanford Bernstein as a co-portfolio manager for institutional investors. Mr. Silverman earned a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan.Mr. Silverman holds Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 registrations with the FINRA.
