Employed as an Associate working across a range of City and Guilds plastering qualifications at level 1, level 2 and level 3. Some of the roles and duties include working as a scrutineer, reviser and writing multiple choice questions for end of unit tests and writing practical assessments in disciplines such as casting and fixing fibrous plasterwork, applying plaster materials to interiors, producing reverse mould for fibrous plasterwork, carry out small scale plastering repairs. Other duties included preparing material and resources for smart screen and attending editing meetings to assess all units for the level 1 and level 2 qualifications.

I am currently employed as Lecturer A in Plastering at Wigan College. My duties include preparing Scheme of works, lesson plans and delivering both practical and theory sessions to level two NVQ/Diploma students. I also work closely with local employers and guide apprentices through their two year frameworks. The job role also includes onsite reviews and assessments of students and an upto date knowledge of qualification criterias and available funding streams for employers.
