My key roles as a lecturer are delivering high quality, engaging courses to a wide range of learners, from entry-level construction to level three Carpenters and Joiners. Delivery to both full time college courses and being course leader for apprenticeship programmes ensures an extensive knowledge of college systems, whilst working alongside students, parents and employers. Effectively operating with numerous awarding bodies, differing standards whilst supporting learners and colleague’s complete paper based, and online portfolios. This occupation has allowed me to develop skills including but not limited to the organisation of course planning, timetabling, ordering, teaching, assessing and internal verification.

My key roles as a Bench Joiner were to make high quality Joinery from Windows to Stairs to Kitchen Cupboards and install these products on site on a daily basis. Qualified in the use of all machines from Saws to Planers and Spindles, which are required to complete all Joinery products. I was responsible for ensuring all the machines and tools in the workshop are of suitable levels of quality as safety was regularly checked. Worked as part of a small team, together on jobs from start to finish, I am also experienced in working in larger teams on bigger projects.
