Projects:· In 2021 due to excessive workplace injuries specifically pokes and cuts at both Kaiser Zion and SDMC SPD’s I developed a workplace safety tool and competency emphasizing accountability and active observation. This resulted in over 470 days injury free at SDMC. There are additional plans to incorporate into UBT and share with San Marcos/Zion.· Due to massive cross contamination and possible injury to staff it was determined that SPD should remove B-Braun IV pump cleaning from SPD’s responsibilities. Investigation and subsequent SBAR were authored by me.· I updated the current SPD Instrument Tech II job description.· Worked with SPD and HNS Leadership to streamline Garfield Clinic with SDMC workflows, processes, and competencies.
