To Whom It May Concern: I found it very beneficial to the veteran to provide interview counseling of their goals prior to acceptance into the program. As well as during the training sessions, and preparation of interview techniques of the client. It is also essential to following through during after the interview process, with client centered case management skills as well as ongoing after care follow. I found this important to the veteran’s self-esteem as the veteran learns to deal with the many pitfalls of having a job after being homeless and unemployed for at times many years.
