Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Fresno State University and spent the first decade of his career working in wholesale nursery, commercial landscape maintenance and as a Certified Arborist for nationally recognized companies. He began to develop his interest in landscape water management while seeing firsthand the damage to trees caused by improper irrigation and developed a passion for the use of irrigation technology in the urban landscape. As an irrigation equipment manufacturer’s representative, Mike uses his breadth of landscape knowledge and hands-on experience to help educate designers, installers and owner/managers in the proper application and management of irrigation systems. He specializes in computerized and weather-based irrigation control and has been a member of the Toro Irrigation family for nearly 20 years.
