Staff Software Engineer
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Efficiency Engineering Team, I work on designing and implementing tools used by LinkedIn Site Engineering to forecast site demand and application requirements. Using machine learning models, we translate those requirements into recommendations for hardware ordering and assignment as well as provide tools for application owners to view their historical performance and automatically size their fleets to most efficiently meet future demands.I lead a small cohort that writes automation to generate forecasts using Silverkite and Prophet algorithms for multiple future scenarios based on business projections. We analyze those forecasts and produce comprehensive reports to share with other teams and management. Those forecasts feed other products that our team maintains to forecast hardware requirements and set testing targets for the company.
