Planned, Scheduled and Budgeted field audits utilizing both internal and external resources. Reviewed 20-40 audit reports per week for internal reporting standards and content. Lead and instructed formal classroom training, field training and review for internal Field Auditors. Performed “Work-Outs” of several problem loans and was instrumental in the recovery of substantially all of the funds advanced and uncovered fraudulent transactions consisting of collateral impairment, fictitious collateral and undisclosed potential lien right violations. Several “Quality Awards” were received in recognition of these accomplishments. Supervised 5-15 internal Field Auditors on a weekly basis, including performance evaluation, with direct reporting responsibility for 6 employees, which included annual performance evaluations. Provided Accounting, Budgeting and Managerial Services to a full-service restaurant and world-famous toll house cookie bakery. The restaurant is the historic site where the toll house cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in the 1930's. The restaurant offered lunch, dinner, a lively cocktail lounge and lovely gardens, which hosted many weddings and social gatherings. The cookie bakery produced various gourmet cookie varieties, which were available for sale at the garden gift shop and were wholesaled to retail shops throughout New England and New York.
