While I do continue to advise delivery teams regarding production change best practices, planning, and execution... with teams better situated however, my focus has returned to delivery lead on the Claims Assist product collection.-Working with (new) product owners to reestablish our backlog-Educating the full team on Scrum framework, and helping to explore new agile concepts-Keeping our team out of unnecessary entanglements-Scheduling and overseeing our major events (demos, scrum ceremonies, etc.)-Coordinating cross-teams to plan and calibrate our delivery of shared solutions

This was a call to action. During our agile transition, we had a growing gap in our release process.We were unable to find the right candidate to help with this area, but I had a proven track record with my team, and had been assisting others from time to time. I accepted the position of this expanded enterprise release role and quickly eased the organization's growing pains.-Verified quality standards were met prior to authorizing releases-Ensured test configurations matched our target production configuration-Began review of config changes from baseline to better understand how "misses" were becoming a regular occurrence-Educated members of the delivery teams on practicing release "good hygiene".-Consulted with delivery teams in regard to production transitions to build confidence in releasing services, DB, and client apps independently, instead of major monolithic pushes.Established the following:-Enterprise Release schedule for all product/service groups -Consistent release processes / guidelines for teams to follow-Monthly increments, with planning sessions-Alignment of sprints to more easily plan production changes without conflicts

I joined Cross Country in a junior role (Associate Project Manager) as my transition from operations to development, eager to learn. My manager would often mentor without feeling the need to step in or become involved in my work. My role as a project manager for small projects and assistant on complex ones was brief however, as management learned that I could quickly adapt and innovate. Some highlights...-Concurrently executed many technical projects, small to complex, across all areas of the business-Led the technical program to transform our newest product line at the time (Vehicle Incident Management Solutions) into a scalable enterprise platform.-Successfully navigated the waters to establish and lead the first agile development team in a matrix environment where all programs follow a strict waterfall delivery model.-Coordinated the stand up of new clients within our Roadside Assistance program (Vehicle Assist) who did not require extensive customization, in addition to my normal workload+Later using this knowledge to migrate many of our OEM clients off the less-supported legacy platforms.
