Science tells a story, connects dots from abstract concepts, and reveals how a magic trick works. Great science stories breathe life into data. They give emerging therapeutics a vehicle to reach patients. As the Senior SciComms Editor of Clinical Education at Seed Health I work with our scientists, and an incredibly creative team to create story-structured content to awaken the passions of healthcare providers. I utilize behavioral design and habit/decision-making concepts from psychology to write presentations, articles, scripts, product sheets, design diagrams, direct graphic creation, and work with software developers/UX designers. As a team, we create provider and patient experiences to enhance user experiences, and ultimately treatment adherence and clinical outcomes. I have written for the Huffington Post's "Healthy Living" section, and as a ghostwriter for other authors in the medical space. I practiced general practice naturopathic medicine for 8 years, in Carlsbad, California and Edinburgh, Scotland. I stay up to date with continuing medical education and hold a license to practice medicine in California to keep a finger on the pulse of the colleagues and patients I now serve.
