My career started with conservation work and a degree in Forest Ecology. My summers in college were spent conducting field work with the U.S Forest Service where I developed systems thinking and the analytical mindset required to manage ecosystems effectively. After graduating, and the onset of Covid-19, I began working in the non-profit sector at a regional foodbank where, as a Program Manager I leveraged strategic thinking and data analysis to optimize operations and lead an agile, data-driven team. Throughout my education and career I've continually sought out challenges and opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge to real life situations. Increasingly I've recognized the role I can play in supporting data informed decision making to achieve organizational success.
