This conglomeration of clubs and expanded statewide footprint created Wisconsin's first truly elite program in the club lacrosse scene, producing nationally ranked teams and unparalleled success for both teams and individual players.The expansion into national tournaments and enhanced player exposure laid the foundation for the most holistic and complete club program in the state's history. Alpha Lacrosse also played a pivotal role in the formation of Project Midwest, a partnership aiming to unite top, like-minded clubs in the Midwest. This initiative provides athletes with unique opportunities, hosts events, and collaborates on travel teams. Established in 2020, Project Midwest serves as a pathway for the best lacrosse players in the Midwest to come together and compete in premier national tournaments.

Legends Lacrosse was established while Michael Stefan was in law school when he identified a gap in the club lacrosse space. Prioritizing continued player development and faced with limited options, Michael founded Legends Lacrosse out of necessity. The organization grew to encompass youth and high school teams, fall/winter leagues, coaching clinics, skills development programs, and club travel teams. It also hosts the annual Midwest Championships Tournament each spring, attracting some of North America's most elite high school lacrosse programs. Legends Lacrosse eventually merged with Alpha Lacrosse following Alpha's acquisition of competing clubs across the state.

Michael guided his high school alma mater to their first, second, and third state championship victories during his five-year tenure as head coach. Under his leadership, the program expanded its global footprint, regularly competing against perennial ranked opponents across the country and attracting national attention.Michael was honored as the Wisconsin State High School Coach of the Year for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. His three state championship victories (2016, 2017, 2019) stand as the most by any individual coach in Wisconsin state history.
