Technical Group Supervisor IMSDG (Information Management Systems Development Group). Managed 20+ JPL and Contract employees working on PDMS (Sherpa and Teamcenter Enterprise), Teamcenter Community, and Xerox Docushare. Formed pro-active Hardware, Software, Customer Support, and Operations Teams. Architected and implemented a scalable and robust Hardware Architecture including servers, networks, and client configurations. Integrated groups of different work-cultures into a close-knit, functional team. Managed roll-out and upgrades of three enterprise-wide systems.

Technical Group Supervisor for the PDMS group. Managed the implementation of the Teamcenter PDM system. In addition to supervisory responsibilities: developed requirements, managed multi-million dollar budget, led development and maintenance teams, coordinated help-desk and system administration, and worked with consultants to meet project deliverables. Additional duties include: As acting Lead Programmer, System Engineer and Lead Architect for the PDMS System, accomplished high profile tasks including ITAR and Proprietary Data Schemes for use with Teamcenter as well as unobtrusive security implementations. Extensive re-engineering of technical and engineering processes.

Technical Group Supervisor for the PDMIG (Product Data Management Implementation Group). Supervised 29 programmers, administrators, and assorted support personnel. Group functions included the JPL Configuration Management/PDM System (PDMS), the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Tool Services Accounting System, the Engineering Data Management Group (EDMG, the JPL Drawing Release Authorities), the Mechanical CAD System Administration Group, and the Division 35 Technical Support personnel. This was in addition to my roles as System Engineer and Lead Architect for the PDMS system. Duties included budgeting, holding team and group meetings, quiet-hours with team leads, representing the interests of the group and the section to other organizations.

Technical Lead for the Lab-Wide PDMS (Project Data Management System) project. Coordinate teams of programmers to develop PC and Unix based systems for Configuration Management and ISO-9000 compliance. Design cross platform support and multi-tiered architecture to implement a scalable PDM system. Define and design APIs that provide a secure yet open interface with legacy/parallel systems.
