About Michael Stella
My name is Michael Stella and I am a senior earning my dual bachelor's degree in Political Science and Journalism and Media Communication at Colorado State University. I currently serve as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Associated Students of Colorado State University. Before starting my current role with ASCSU, I completed CSU’s Colorado Legislative internship with Bowditch and Cassell Public Affairs. During my undergraduate studies I also gained communication experience by writing for the Rocky Mountain Collegian and as well as working for CSU’s Office of Engagement and Extension as a Communications Coordinator. I am passionate about making sure student voices are heard during the policy making process.I am originally from Henderson, Nevada and outside of work and my studies I enjoy spending time outside skiing, fishing and camping.
