One of my favorite lines in a movie is from Braveheart: Every man dies, but not every man really lives. It has been mine and my beautiful wife and twin teenage sons' intent to ensure we live our lives to the fullest. My wife and I have twice lived outside the US, once in Scotland during college and once when I was offered one of the best jobs at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as our representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) Supreme HQ of the Allied Powers of Europe (SHAPE), in Mons, Belgium. It was the time of our lives and we hope to move back to Europe some day. But for now, we are settled and blessed to be living in a wonderful parish (Ascension) and city (Chesterfield) that has lots of great things going on. While I'm not working at NGA, I have been trying to improve my golf game, learn to build furniture out of Missouri Black Walnut, and raise my sons to be wonderful Catholic men.
