My background and work history has been focused on Project management for environmental planning; utility projects; electrical transmission lines, substations, power plants, pipelines, wind farms, wind developments, renewable energy projects and transportation projects. I have managed numerous NEPA and CEQA projects including the development of alternatives and the multidisciplinary environmental impact reviews, including: Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Impact Reports (EIR), Environmental Assessments (EA), Negative Declarations (Neg Dec). My experience extends from project development (routing and siting), public involvement, agency and public official involvement, through the development of defensible environmental documents. I have been successful at fostering vital working relationships with federal and state agencies for my projects through conducting transparent and technically sound planning processes that meet the needs of the utilities or developers as well as the licensing or permitting agency.

My work history at Dames & Moore/URS focused on utility project planning activities. These activities included National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) project reviews and impact analysis/planning. Project experience was focused on land use activities but included a broad spectrum of experience and agency relations, including the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), US Forest Service, and Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), as well as many state agencies. Project experience included recreational surveys and public involvement.
