Performing functional work within the Workday HCM/Compensation areas. Received my Workday Pro Compensation certification in August 2022.During my time on our Workday team, we were responsible for bringing the following populations into our Workday platform: Puerto Rico (12,000), our entire US Supply Chain (135,000), and our India Development Center associates (14,000).I was responsible for the compensation and HCM components set up in Workday as well as managing the cutover activities from tenant to tenant.
Lead projects from a technical perspective in our People Systems area. My responsibility in the following projects covered the design, development, testing and implementation of the new software. This also includes working with offshore resources to complete the projects.- Converted England and China HR platforms over to SAP HCM platform. - Converted our Equity systems over to the Award Choice platform at Merrill Lynch. Managed the technical aspects of the project from both the mainframe platform as well as the open systems platforms. The new system automated many manual aspects of the older system.- Managed various projects to reduce paper in our payroll systems area. The projects covered the following areas: * Reduced the printing of paystubs and pushing to online paystub portals both internally and our First Data vendor partner. This allowed associates to print a copy when they needed to and not force a printing every time a paystub was generated. * Moved our various payroll reporting registers that printed out every payroll cycle to an online portal so each store/club/warehouse could view their information online rather than by hardcopy. * Provided ability to allow direct payment to a paycard or bank account upon termination instead of issuing a paper check every time. * Provided ability for our Disaster Assistance area and our Transplant area to deposit funds directly to associate's paycards instead of issuing a WIRE transfer or a physical check.- Converted certain populations of associates over from our Peoplesoft system to Lawson and was involved with the payroll interfaces between the two systems.
In 2005, I transferred over to our People Systems area and was responsible for the requirements, design, development, testing and implementation of the following new solutions.- Converted our payroll processes over to JPMorgan Chase to handle our payroll accounts. This encompassed all aspects of sending all payroll check and deposit information to JPMorgan Chase as well as reconciliation processes between our systems.- Converted our in-house garnishment system over to ADP so they could handle certain aspects of our garnishment/wage attachments processes. Too this included all aspects of compliance and reconciliation between our two systems.Previous to 2005, I worked in the areas of Item File and Pricing in Information Systems.While in the Item File area, my role encompassed development, testing and implementation of our solutions on the mainframe platform. The projects covered the following areas:- Developed a new global pricing solution that would allow our buyers to set the retail prices of our products much easier. During the implementation of the solution, I travelled to Argentina, Brazil and England to assist with the implementation of the product. Also assisted with the conversion in China, South Korea, Germany and Mexico.- Developed new ways to push item/pricing updates to our field locations around the world.- Was part of team that developed a new system to push modular changes to our stores as well as the associated pricing.
During this period, my responsiblities were to stabilize the new grocery distribution systems Walmart acquired from McLane company in support of our new grocery distribution center in Clarkesville Arkansas.As a company we then began to open more grocery distribution centers around the country very rapidly and our team supported the systems that enabled the new sites to open and operate, thus supporting our massive expansion of Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets around the country.As we opened new centers, our team improved processes and began developing new ones to improve productivity in the centers. We introduced voice technology with VoCollect that allowed our distrubtion center pickers to wear a headset control the picking rather than having physical pick lists that routed them through the picking process.

While at Dillard's went through the formal development training program the first year. I was responsible for the rewrite of the Bridal Registry system while there. Also assisted with the rollout of the new PIT system for store inventory.
