Supervisor of the swim area. In charge of training and managing 25 certified swim instructors as well as the creation and implementation of the Lifesaving Society Swim Program offered to the entire camp (800+ campers). Communicating with parents and upkeeping of safety procedures are among responsibilities as well. Assisting swim instructors having difficulties to help them grow to be successful as well as working with experts to create unique programming for campers with exceptionalities is also part of the role.

Completed a 3-week placement with the Digital Learning Team at TVO. Roles included assisting Course Content Officers with student inquiry in the Independent Learning Centre (ILC), creating teacher and student graphics for mPower and Mathify, travelling to various schools in the Peel District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board to help students sign up and take advantage of our digital learning tools, and reviewing and brainstorming course content for senior level science courses for the ILC.

May-June of 2017 and 2018. Worked at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School in Markham, ON. Covered every grade level of class in the school (Kindergarten to grade 8) as well as worked as an Educational Assistant with students with exceptionalities. Was assigned my role upon arriving at the school each morning which required flexibility and creativity.

Worked as a general staff member on the 'Prep' station and 'Sammies' station (one year each). Duties for prep work included preparing up to 200 premade wraps, preparing fresh vegetables for sandwich orders, and keeping the facilities clean by washing dishes and waste removal. Duties for Sammies included taking customer orders of custom bagels and sandwiches, assembling and packaging bagels before giving them to customers. Covering of other stations was also part of this role. Was awarded employee of the month in November 2016 as well as given the opportunity to be trained and staffed at Common Ground's smaller and more unique location - The Brew.

Markham, Ontario, Canada

Worked in 2016 as Supervisor for the Inter Boy's Unit (boy campers aged 6-8). Duties included all logistical work for 80 campers, training and managing of 20 staff members, and keeping communication with parents of campers. Planning special activities and overnight activities, larger camp commitments, and supporting counsellors having difficulties were other roles. Worked in 2017 as Supervisor of the Counsellor-in-Training (CIT) program. Was responsible for mentoring and training 70 campers aged 13-15 into becoming future counsellors. Leadership, teamwork, and communication skills were all focuses within the program. Assisted in other camp duties such as directing the camp play and coordinating the charity Swim-A-Thon.

Created, managed, and implemented a $50,000 budget for the 2016 Orientation Week for the Concurrent Education Program at Queen's University. Interviewed, hired, and trained 55 Orientation Leaders, was in charge of all financial related duties including ordering of clothing and materials, food services, external vendors and activity locations. Created and managed online registration platform - 230 registrants each filling out an online form relating to dietary and accessibility restraints and making an online payment.

Cabin counsellor for 12-15 campers aged 6-8 years old. Responsible for all health and safety duties, programming daily activities, and managing the weekly schedule of my group. Was awarded 'Above and Beyond' Award for each summer of service for various work-ethic related reasons.
