Chief of Solutions Delivery within the Office of Business Process Integration of the Veterans Benefits Administration. I oversee daily operations and manage new projects related to VBA’s intake of claims and claims-related information as well as VBA’s outbound communications. On the intake side, this involves running VBA’s Centralized Mail Program where we annually receive millions of documents from Veterans, claimants and their representatives, in paper through P.O. Boxes, via fax and electronically through our mail portal. VBA also performs back-scanning of documents already in VBA’s possession. My staff are responsible for performing oversight on the operations of VBA’s managed service providers, managing the end to end program on VBA’s side (including project management, logistics management and liaison duties) and managing new Centralized Mail and document conversion projects. These new projects include traditional project elements such as business process reengineering, eliciting and documenting business requirements, performing testing and training, etc., and also involve substantial, federal government acquisitions activities. On the outbound communications side, this involves running the Centralized Benefits Communications Management Program which will centralize outbound paper (printed mail) and electronic communications (emails, text messages, etc.) between VBA lines of business and Veterans, claimants, their representatives and other third party recipients of claims-related communications.

Senior Program Analyst within the Office of Business Process Integration in the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). I perform business oversight of information technology systems and software development projects supporting VBA's delivery of benefits and services to America's Veterans. In this capacity, I manage and facilitate change control processes, elicit, write and review functional requirements for software systems and assist with organizational change management activities surrounding system implementations. I also manage special projects related to automated benefits delivery and the conversion of VBA's paper-based business processes to paperless processes.
