In this role I played the lead technical role in migrating a corporate superannuation plan from the Capital6.5 registry system to the Composer system.My main responsibilities were:- to devise and execute a solution to extract data from the original registry system with SQL for consumption by the new system.- to liaise with Investment Accounting to determine the reporting they required and build, co-ordinate testing and implement the reporting.

This position involved migration of corporate superannuation plans from Capital 6.1 to Capital 6.5.My primary role on the Corporate Superannuation System migration project involved analysing and rationalising the 60+ life insurance and salary continuance premium and sum insured rules on the system. Then specifying these for configuration on the new registry system.I also took the lead on managing the implementation of the interface between the registry system and the employer web portal.During this time I developed a strong understanding of the capital 6.5 data model and syncsoft proprietary language CTL.In the last few months of this position I was also involved in a data quality project to assess data integrity using SQL and resolve data issues.
