I design and build concepts, once a concept is picked, I do everything to take it through production, including showing production how to properly make the product. This includes every part of chairs themselves, from frames, to foam, to cover. I figure out problems with the production of our products and come up with better ways of manufacturing them, improving design. I finalize the patterns for the covers and foam before they are ordered or cut in house.

Owner, Upholstery and Design Specialist – Duties included: Creating specialized designs not commonly done by trim or upholstery shops. Managing employees. Maintaining quality of design. Consulting on incorporation of business ideals. Creating and maintaining website. Incorporating business logos, ideals, and/or lines of vehicles into original designed pieces. Etc.

Formulated a micro and macro blend fertilizer for aquascaping to be sold in retail stores. Grew and sold rare marginal and aquatic plant species for aquascaping.

Design Fabricator, Upholstery Specialist, TV Personality – Recreated original 1800s pieces by combining antiquated fabrics with modern internal components to mimic the look of original early 1800’s styling but with modern comfort. Antiqued modern components to look aged. Acted for televised episode. Helped to create scenes for the show. Kept projects within budget and timeframe needed for shooting.

Journeyman – Duties included: Analyzing damaged furniture. Repairing any damage with stock parts. When stock parts are not available, looking up and ordering repair parts needed to finalize repairs to customer satisfaction. Taking picture of all damaged areas and sending these into to Lazyboy with corresponding parts used to fix or parts ordered.
