Air Systems Technology Transition Manager, Plans and Programs Directorate, Headquarters Air Force Research Laboratory. Led Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) engagement with Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) and Air Mobility Command on Science and Technology requirements, programs, and transition to acquisition or industry. Responsible for matching AFRL experts to ASC technology needs and for providing the status of the approaches to meeting the Top Tier requirements. Chief, Operations Support Division, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Air Force Research Laboratory. Turned around unit “likely to fail” compliance inspection to one that received “Excellent” rating. Took over ailing organization, instituting changes in attitudes and performance resulting in “dramatically different behaviors” – resulting in kudos from customers for high-quality, on time support.

Introduced company name at Wright-Patterson AFB Area B resulting in the first business ever there. Won two of three bids resulting in both immediate work and task order opportunities for over $50M of work for 5 years

Coaxed back by COO to reinvigorate proposal development and computer information departments. Won contracts enabling 10% corporate revenue growth each year.

Management Consultant, both as an individual and with Bahan Dennis, Inc., Dayton OH. Provided expert advice to various companies and to the government on: business strategy, proposal preparation and review, and business process re-engineering. Wrote winning proposal for a 5 year, $50 million contract.
