In this role, I am a part of the Subaru.com backend team. Through this experience, I am learning backend development, and how software is developed in a team setting. I actively support my team by writing documentation for the various onboarding and processes that takes place on the team to facilitate new members joining our team. I also work with other developers on the team to review code and support changes made to the production environment.In addition to working with the Subaru.com backend team, I also work with other teams in Subaru's IT department, such as service operations, marketing technology, and information security. In this role, I support over 30,000 Rowan students and faculty by securing their Rowan accounts and emails. Working alongside the Rowan ISO team, I monitor suspicious activity on Rowan's network, and work to ensure there aren't any vulnerabilities or exposure to risk through the ServiceNow and StealthBITS platforms. Additionally, I assist with developing new processes for the Rowan ISO team for various different types of security incidents. This allows me to learn valuable project management skills, as well as the values of effective communication.Through this experience, I am gaining invaluable cyber security industry experience. This role supplements my college education, as I get to apply the content I learn in my classes to this role. This helps with comprehension of the material as well, as I get to see how information security works in the real world.

CobbleStone Software is an industry leading provider for Contract Management and eProcurement Software. Working in the Bids Team, I am regularly exposed to RFx documents. I regularly work with executives in the company to discuss workflow processes and support them with their day to day work tasks. In addition to this, I work with other Bids team members, as well as sales representatives with varying degrees of experience.I perform many administrative tasks to facilitate the team’s workflow efficiency, and I manage several trackers to keep audits on project progress. Some of these trackers I have developed on my own in Microsoft Excel, which primarily serve as workflow progress trackers.In addition to my administrative tasks, I often work in CobbleStone’s in-house CRM system, where I am extracting and entering data into the database to gain/provide insight to other team members. This system is responsible for keeping an audit on vendor bids, and serving as a vital resource for both the Bids team and sales representatives.I often coordinate with other team members as well, to assist with various tasks when working on bids. These tasks include but are not limited to RFx reviews, assistance with filling out forms, scheduling meetings, and submitting tickets. Working in the Bids team is invaluable experience to me as a student. It has built up my team management skills, administrative tasks, and project management. In addition, this experience continues to expose me to the side of tech most people don’t get much experience with, and that is the business perspective. Having business experience in the tech industry can be invaluable, because it teaches you what vendors want out of their software they are purchasing, and the business implications that come along with it.

Providing a comfortable and prompt dining experience in a warm dining atmosphere. My responsibility as a server was to provide customers with helpful customer service, and take their requests. I accommodated allergy requests, and other various requests. While working in a fast paced environment, I worked alongside a great number of coworkers, which we often helped each other out with taking care of our tables. Being a busy restaurant, I was often responsible for taking care of 3 tables, but never pushed back against taking more to assist with lowering wait times.Some of my duties included order-taking, customer service, responsible alcoholic beverage serving, food-running, allergy requests, and time management. These skills provided me with valuable experience to other aspects of my life, such as managing school and job responsibilities.
