I was approached and promoted to lead a newly created division, implement and drive Business Intelligence (BI) strategy, supervise a team of four (Masterdata Administrators and Business Analysts), and manage tactical operations. I created all systems and procedures, and provided strong leadership to the team to drive delivery of BI capability across the business. To engage stakeholders and demonstrate the value BI offered, I conducted roadshows, and moving forward, presented results, data and insights, and training to staff. I was initially appointed to a fixed term contract to define and execute multiple strategic programs. Based on performance and contributions, I was offered permanent employment and drove digital agenda across the organisation, all owned brands and markets (Australia and New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe), and grew internal capabilities via strategic planning, website design/development, and campaign management.IMPACT & HIGHLIGHTS: ►Developed strategy and drove digital capability, increasing skills, capacity and performance►Project managed upgrade of e-commerce platform and integration into ERP, with YOY volume and revenue growth►Introduced a Virtual Prescription, Direct-to-Patient e-commerce ordering system, and redesigned/rebuilt multiple brand websites►Introduced Search Optimisation programs across all brands with year-on-year organic search increases

In this role I established a comprehensive digital strategy and program of works to enhance online opportunities for Canon customers, and created and drove new revenue across business units. I recruited, led and managed the digital team through detailed strategy execution across Canon’s Australian and New Zealand operations, managed overarching program, and drove individual projects to successful completion. IMPACT & HIGHLIGHTS: ►Enhanced the MyCanon Membership program (>500K active members); and introduced social media strategy►Established e-commerce capability, a first for the company, which delivered record retail sales in 2009 and 2010►Partnered with Canon Europe/UK and Canon Inc to develop an online Photo Storage and Sharing Solution. ►Developed a new user experience site for World of Eos that was recognised at Cannes with a Gold Lion Award.

Project managed a program of works for Westpac in the end user computing space, and co-located in Westpac offices, collaborated with Senior Business Unit Managers, Project Directors and Managers, internal IT Executives and third party suppliers. Recognised for contributions and performance with internal IBM and Westpac awards.

Led strategic information systems planning for all AHL businesses across 110 locations in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Germany and United Kingdom. Managed a team of 28 and contractors, as well as IT&C suppliers and strategic partners with an annual IT budget of $9.5M and capital budget of $6M

Initially employed in a hospitality management role and then seconded to IT to support a major systems upgrade. Managed the design, planning and implementation of new administrative systems, rolled out a new WAN throughout Australia and New Zealand, and replaced networking, servers, workstations, operating systems and software for each hotel.
