- Work on the AEGIS Modernization Team (AMT) at Norfolk, Virginia as a Weapon Control System (WCS) Engineer. We install, test and operate the new combat systems baselines on US Navy Destroyers and Cruisers. The systems that we work with include: SPY-1 RADARSPQ-9 RADARFCS IlluminatorsVLSADSORTS- Data analysis is also big part of what I do. Collectively I use the programs UNIX, LINUX and Python to install, test and operate the combat systems and our data analysis suite. - Work with the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) on US Carrier and Amphibious platforms by providing analysis and technical support.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

- Led, organize and provide antiterrorism training and resources to the LCS crews. - Coordinated force protection conditions for LCS ship visits and commissioning ceremonies.

Norfolk, Virginia

- Led, managed and mentored 15 personnel while conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on SSDS, BFTT, RAM, CEC, SPQ-9 and SPS-48 RADARS.- Managed and performed BFTT scenario’s for training and certification events during the ship’s basic, integrated and certification events. - Coordinated and performed ammunition upload and download evolutions before and after deployments for RAM and all small arms onboard the ship. - Organized and managed the ship’s Antiterrorism program as the Antiterrorism Training Supervisor. - Trained 200 personnel in security reaction force basic qualifications.- Qualified in; Combat Systems Officer of the Watch(CSOOW), Antiterrorism Tactical Watch Officer(ATTWO), Antiterrorism Training Supervisor, CSTT and ATTT Leader.

- Ammunition inspector, certifier and handler for NMC Sewells Point that distributes ammunition too and from the fleet stationed in the Hampton Roads area to include Norfolk, Little Creek and Yorktown Naval bases.- Certified ammunition ranging from hellfire missiles to all forms of small arms to be issued, received and to be transported over the road. - Drove up to SEMI Trucks loaded with ammunition to the piers and Hampton Roads Navy Bases. - Qualified in; Ammunition Quality Assurance Inspector, HAZMAT Certifier, Team Leader, Tomahawk Missile handler, SEMI Truck driver, 5 Ton Truck Driver, 10K/5K Forklifts and blocking and bracing.
