• Daily update and maintain the Harris County Appraisal District's parcel map and related layers using ESRI ArcMap.
• Both methods of metes and bounds and Public Land Survey System are ultilized to translate plats, surveys and deeds to correctly identify, resolve conflicts and update parcels. Translate plats, surveys and deeds to.

• Build custom addons to ArcMap to streamlines daily tasks using VBA.
• Generate custom maps as requested by senior staff to analyze assessment related data and more effectively communicate with the public.
• Analyze raw data and generate statistical reports using Microsoft Access and Excel to include into ArcMap.

Police Department

• Performs database maintenance on live mainframe system by entering and modifying street index records.
• Maintains unit files, logs, research material and maps in orderly manner. Utilizes advanced training in ARC/INFO GIS System to prepare for database maintenance.
• Systematically, and by special request, goes to areas of the city to gather geographical information. Digitalize geographic information via ARCGIS and notify HEC/911.
• Participates in City annexations by reviewing metes and bounds of proposed sites. Conducts field trips to area to record and map street information. Identifies affected records.

Houston, Texas Area

• Work in a team to develop and support DSM¬ (Drilling System Management) software for CONOCO, utilize both the front-end software like Access and VB (building add-in controls) and back-end like Toad (running in Oracle8i.
• Convert all codes from Access to Visual Basic 6 and build newly converted DSM+ software under VB environment.
• Build add-in (COM) controls using VB 6.0 for this newly converted DSM+ Software per user request.
• Work with networking team to make sure DSM is easy and conflict free to user when implemented.
