- Selected as one of 10 alumni for the advisory council to guide development of new science department at Claremont McKenna, offering insight on class structure, content focus, and teaching style- Promote the department’s integration of natural sciences and computer science, focused on three grand interdisciplinary, socio-specific challenges: health, the brain, and the planet

- Investigated the antimicrobial and immunomodulatory properties of Old World Monkey-derived theta defensins for therapeutic applications under the direction of Principle Investigator Dr. Michael E. Selsted, MD, PhD- Focused research on utilization of native theta defensin peptides and synthetically created theta defensin analogs for treatment of various multi-drug resistant bacterial infections, using techniques such as cell culturing, liquid chromatography, and mass spectroscopy among others- Explored methods for production and purification of theta defensin peptides through Old World Monkey cell lines and through laboratory synthesis

- Instructed local high school students on various STEM subjects, focusing primarily on chemistry, through weekly one-on-one virtually-integrated instruction activities

- Personally directed the clinic’s institution of the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), implementing more than a dozen measures to ensure high quality care and ensure positive Medicare payment adjustments- Operated as scrub technician during office-based lab surgical procedures, assisting Dr. Bradley Hill within the sterile field for upward of 4 hours while maintaining patient safety and comfort- Scribed for Dr. Hill during patient consultation and surgical procedures, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient medical records for all 50+ clinical visits every week- Managed front office administration duties for a practice of more than 600 patients, including processing of insurance authorization, scheduling and coordinating with external offices and hospitals, and intaking patients

- Compiled a budget to allocate over $42,000 in funds for the implementation of a five campus wide, student-run emergency medical service- Worked with both Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona-Pitzer athletic departments, as well as heads of major Claremont Colleges club sports teams, to coordinate and provide medical services for sports injuries- Established an inventory of medical supplies to ensure our team had all tools necessary as the club transitioned from Pitzer College only to the entirety of the Claremont Colleges- Organized all internal events within the EMT Club, focusing on attracting new members and building comradery amongst all 150+ members while simultaneously fostering growth of emergency medical knowledge - Helped in foundation and integration of Satellite Learning Program, a youth mentorship program, incorporating members of CCEMS as youth mentors
