I research articles on my topic of interest; memory recognition and studying how people learn. I then proceeded to develop a research plan by forming procedures, methods, and hypothesis outcomes. I conducted a pilot experiment to build experience for the data collecting trial runs taking place in the following semester. I am currently sharing my ideas and data with a colleague to finish my work after my graduation in December with hopes to present as Ohio University Student Exposition next Spring.

I attend full board meetings to disucss new information and gather feedback from active members. Organize philanthropy committee meetings with a group of thirteen to plan philanthropy events throughout the academic year for current and alumni to engage in together.

Over the last three years, I have been responsible for over 1500+ residents within multiple residence halls. My responsibilities were to supervise and create a safe and fun living environment in the halls. I also advertised and created programs for my residents to attend in order to ensure they experienced a well rounded college experience. My staff collaborated as a team to provide the best possible experience for the residents while maintaining a safe place for the community to live. I grew more diverse by being surrounded by the various backgrounds of my staff and residents.

I followed a strict schedule attending different therapy sessions between two speech-language pathologists. My time primarily centered around working with 4 children diagnosed with autism. I had the chance to lead speech therapy activities when instructed by professionals.

I interacted and communicated with residents of Boyd Resident Hall. I received feedback on living situations and gathered an understanding of what can be done to improve the community of the hall. Furthermore, I designed and created programs that give residents information about resources on campus and how to excel in the classroom as well as in the campus community.
