Over the last 10 years, Michael has worked with GIS applications for use by a range of clients including municipalities, public authorities and institutions as well as private corporations. Some tasks performed were geodatabase design, management, QA/ QC, training others, and data manipulation/ conversion. The GIS databases Michael assisted with the development of have enabled visualization, management, and analyzing capabilities of varying geographic information to allow greater understanding of the locational context and its relationships to the specified data. Applying these same principles to supportive housing of Veterans is his primary aim. He is a member of several professional organizations, continues to participate in workshops, and is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP). Michael’s passion in providing solutions with GIS applications to serve people to become empowered coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit to rehab houses has brought him to participate with the creation of the Veterans Housing & Employment Assistance. His love for our country and gratitude for the soldiers has inspired Michael to fill a need to help those that have given so much.
