PREPRESSPreparing, processing and pre-flighting artwork files to ensure high resolution print. Roaming all high resolution pdfs supplied, to avoid potential printing difficulties Editing files in Pitstop Pro, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, InDesign, Planning and proofing artwork in Preps and Prinergy. Generating proofs and mock-ups for customers, using large format proofers. Preps, Re-producing files, specific layouts to customer requirements and specific project management. Creating and amending new and existing artwork (typesetting, scanning, data manipulation etc.) Managing the storage/archive of all artwork files on servers, as well as layout grids. Dealing with customer queries and requests relating to artwork issues. Liaising with production departments and suppliers to create and ensure a seamless workflow. Working remotely when required after hours.
