As Member of the Executive Board, I drive the strategic direction of OeEB, the development bank of Austria. I am solely responsible for the areas of Equity Participations, Legal & Compliance, Credit Risk Management & Risk Management, Human Resources as well as Accounting & Financial Control. Together with Executive Board Member Sabine Gaber, I am responsible for Development Policy, Administration, and Internal Audit. Additionally, I am member of the Advisory Board and Supervisory Board in Private Equity Funds that OeEB is invested in.OeEB finances private sector investments in developing and emerging countries through long-term loans and private equity and supports its partners with technical assistance. Our focus sectors include renewable energy, MSME finance and infrastructure. In all our investments we particularly emphasize climate protection and gender equality as cross-sector issues.

Before joining OeEB, I served at Austria’s export credit agency Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OeKB) in various positions, including my position as deputy head of the project and environmental risk analysis department.My responsibilities included the review of project finance transactions and assessment of applications for soft loan finance, advising the Federal Ministry of Finance in relation to soft loan-financed transactions as well as the implementation of study programs for the Republic of Austria.
