With 22 years in education, including 19 as a classroom English/Journalism teacher and three as a district level Technology Integration Specialist, I have demonstrated the ability to be an innovator, leader, and critical thinker. At the district level, I lead a team of 13 school-level Technology Teachers Leaders, and work alongside the Director of Technology, the Director of Professional Development, and the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction to implement instructional technology strategies that benefit students and teachers within the district. By leading direct training sessions and coordinating purchases and applications of instructional technology tools, my organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills help make me a valuable member of our district team. I have also presented at state-level conferences and am a member of the S.C Department of Education District Technology Advisory Group.
