Grew sales 6 fold within his first two years of managing the West region. Lead sales organization transformation from an SMB focused early-stage software firm, into an Enterprise/Major account focused market leader. Starting as the VP of the West Region, the role grew into also managing the Central Region and Major Accounts in the Americas.

Along with a team of peers, Mike led the transformation of an underperforming Professional Services organization into a profitable Advanced Consulting Services organization, focused on delivering value to NetApp's top 200 clients in the Americas. By developing higher value added service offerings and focusing on consultative selling, sales grew over 35% and contribution margin went from negative 20% to positive 24%.

Led the transition from a network security consultancy to a storage management service provider. Orchestrated the sale of the firm to a closely aligned VAR.

Joining Alliance, then privately held, as President & COO, Mike played a key role in organically growing this boutique custom app-dev firm from 40 employees to over 700 in 5 years. By developing consulting practices in Business Intelligence and Infrastructure Managed Services, Alliance achieved industry leading growth. A late-stage investment by Thomas Weisel Partners, enabled Alliance to reach 3rd on the Inc 500's fastest growing privately companies, in 1999. In 2002, Alliance was acquired by publicly held Safeguard Scientific (SFE). Mike lead this strategic sale, became CEO and lead the firm until 2004, after having integrated 4 other consultancies into Alliance.

Accelerated from Enterprise Acct Exec, to Major Acct Exec and then District Manager inside of three years. Took the worst performing district to top performing district in 24 months. Achieved top performing district for two full years before be promoted to second-line sales management.Attained performance club all 10 years.
