Prior to this appointment, Michael was RDA’s Chief Operating Officer since the company was formed in late 2018 from the national merger of the former state and territory Liquor Stores Associations (LSA). Before the merger, Michael was the Executive Director & Company Secretary of the LSA NSW & ACT.Michael is also a Director of social change organisation DrinkWise Australia, a Council Member of pan-industry body Alcohol Beverages Australia, a member of the ACT Government’s Liquor Advisory Board (appointed by the Attorney-General), a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland.
