I am a customer centric, commercial and outcomes focused business executive with experience in corporae governance, executive management, strategic development and organisational leadership. I have worked with several organisations in a variety of sectors throughout my career before specializing in the traffic management and transport sector. Through over 25 years in the Australian Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) industry, I am passionate about the application of technologies to enable organisations to provide improved transportation outcomes and achieving successful outcomes for all stakeholders. I have dealt in direct government and semi-government roles during that time.I enjoy strategic and big picture thinking being able to turn this into a plan that has the backing of the shareholder/investors, stakeholders, executive management and staff. Within the executive and leadership team, I used my communication and relationship building skills to deliver many of these outcomes. With a solid technical system engineering and communications background, I have moved from building and leading professional services and project teams through to strategic and tactical business development. This included an ability to drive effectiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in equal measure.I am also seeking other board level positions that I may be able to use my extensive and broad experience to contribute to the development and growth of the organization. My strength is in the creation of business and customer value through the alignment of product and services with customer and market resulting in the development of new business opportunities and partnership creation.I am also an experienced public speaker, master of ceremonies, panel and workshop facilitator skilled at fostering constructive thought provoking debate.Throughout my career, I have been committed to supporting the community through the role as President of the Bardon Latrobe Soccer Club and helping others through the provision of volunteer services for organisations such as Queensland Cancer Fund and fund-raising money for organisations such as AEIOU (Support for Autistic Children). Please feel to reach out to me for a coffee and a chat.
