Marketing professionals partner with my team to create effective communication pieces. My experience producing print, presentation, email, photo, video and web documents in roles including design, project management, team leadership and training gives me the expertise to clarify the big picture as we format the fine print.As lead in our Creative Services group, I work with individuals on the corporate Marketing team and those who work within the company's 20-plus business units. I bring attentiveness to differing business needs and objectives as we work to satisfy client objectives. I always strive to improve communication, maintain consistency, and address new challenges in ways that enable all of us to work effectively. While I work with ease in the major design applications of Adobe Creative Cloud, I also bring additional marketing and design expertise in the following areas:Branding – Mesirow has moved through two cycles of major rebranding in the past 10 years. Each has brought with it new challenges in development and deployment.Microsoft Office – While generally not seen as a leading tool for designers, I have many years of experience working in MS Office and supporting individual users in the creation of brand-compliant documents. This includes work in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Email – I understand the many facets of email marketing and how functional concerns need to impact message design. As part of our development process we optimize HTML for desktop and mobile, test rendering and spam performance and consult marketers on deliverability and client relationship management.Photo and video – I am Mesirow's lead photographer and videographer.
