In this exciting position, I am responsible for managing a program that prepares adults with low literacy and English language learners for employment or postsecondary education and/or training. I am responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program that includes curriculum development, instruction, assessment, and support services. I am also responsible for managing staff, budget, data and resources to ensure the success of the program. I work closely with community partners to develop partnerships and collaborations that support the program’s goals. The director is also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Center for Literacy is one of the nation's oldest and largest adult literacy education providers. At Center for Literacy, I lead of team of dedicated education, resource development, finance, and human resources professionals as they strive to help adult students find success.

The position played a crucial role in promoting and advancing adult education initiatives to support the educational needs of Pennsylvania’s adult learners.
